Is HHC safe?
As we wrote in a recent blog, Researchers know that HHC is safe to make and consume. We know that HHC is safe to make and consume. We dont have as much information about it as we do Delta-9 THC and CBD. However, we do know that much like those two cannabinoids, HHC has no known harsh side effects. Much like Delta-8 THC and cannabis, HHC should always be taken in moderation, and users should always know their limits, but it is otherwise safe to use.
HHC side effects: are there any?
As with all hemp-derived cannabinoids, HHC is entirely safe and has few side effects. The key is to be sure that you purchase from a reputable vendor like Diamond CBD that uses third-party testing to ensure the safety of the products they sell.
Does THCP get you high?
Absolutely! THCP is a psychoactive compound, meaning its effects make you feel high. As a matter of fact, THCP is stronger than other popular cannabinoids, such as delta 8 and delta 9. Upon its discovery, researchers found that THCP was around 33x more likely to bind with CB1 receptors than delta 9, making it 33x more potent! To put things in perspective, the average dose of delta 9 is 10mg. The equivalent dose for THCP? 0.3mg. Not only is THCP psychoactive, it is the singular most potent cannabinoid we have!
Is THCP safe?
There is no research that suggests that THCP is any more dangerous than other THC analogs. It has the same effects on the body as THC; however, THCP is a lot more potent. Like, a lot more potent. Thus, its main dangers come in the form of discomforts (anxiety, paranoia, dry mouth, red eyes, etc.) that you would feel if you ingested too much THC. We always recommend you take less THCP than you think you need and build up to a high you’re comfortable with to avoid any negative interactions with the cannabinoid.
Is THCP legal?
Since THCP is a naturally occurring compound in hemp carrying 0.3% THC or less, it is federally legal under the Farm Bill. Passed in 2018, the Farm Bill legalized created a legal distinction between hemp and marijuana, legalizing all hemp-derived products containing 0.3% THC or less. That said, individual states have their own laws and restrictions on hemp-derived cannabinoids. It’s always best to consult your state’s hemp laws before purchasing hemp-derived cannabinoids.
